Mumbai Maiden is the ultimate dream place in town to celebrate an occasion with your loved ones . A Spectacular View & some great food & drinks to go along .... Can't ask for a better Eve then this ............ They have come up with two kind of packages one which offers a la carte with cover charge and other is the fixed menu food package . We opted for the fixed menu food package & here are the highlights of what all we savoured . Creamy Vegetable Bao : Best appetizer to start a dream eve on the uppermost deck of Mumbai Maiden Paneer Chilli : Schewan version of paneer Chilli. Paneer super soft nicely touched up with the spices Stuffed Mushrooms : The stuffing within the mushrooms was super luscious and goes very well with mocktails Paneer Makhani : Soft paneer cubes dipped in scrumptious buttery gravy . The gravy had an immaculate mix of spices and blended well with home style chapati Rotis. Dal Tadka & Rice : Dal tadka reminded us of the traditional homestyle dal fry. Rice papad and Dal called for perfect conclusion to the mains . Dessert : Chocolate Mousse was the best one amongst the lot which was served . In mocktails we tried the different versions of Mojito . The orange and the classic ones were the best and must to have out here . Overall a super se bhi Upar experience and will definitely turn up here again soon with our gang of friends and family to celebrate an occasion . Thank You for reading my detailed Review . Those lights come from these amazing cruise parked at the shores. Of the two which are currently operative, Mumbai Maiden Cruise is one of the only international standard ship which is actually a cruise with an engine / motor of its own and is anchored in between waters. The other is right adjacent to land. You need a small boat to get to this amazing cruise which could take approx. 3 to 4 minutes. Finally we could make a plan and got an opportunity to go to this amazing place.  Mumbai Maiden Cruise recently re-opened for its guests on 19th October and will be operative till last week of May 2019 before the monsoon sets in Mumbai. The cruise comprises of 3 levels - Level 1 from where you enter has the welcome lounge. The private restaurant is in closed environment just like any other restaurant and can accommodate approx. 70 to 75 guests. Level 2 has a banquet hall, which can be again used for holding parties or even conferences. The banquet size is larger as compared to the private restaurant and can host approx. 175 to 200 guests. Level 3 is the roof top which offers breath taking views of the Arabian Sea as well as skyline of Mumbai. Talking about what all we tried at Mumbai Maiden Cruise - We were served welcome drinks - Blue Lagoon which was blue curacao fizzed with aerated drinks. We then began with Starters and first tried the Pickled Fruit Sushi and Hickory BBQ Paneer Pizza. Personal favorite and definitely highly recommended would be the Hickory BBQ Paneer Pizza, crust is normal base and approx. 10''. Paneer topping along with mozzarella cheese tasted superb. Pickled Fruit Sushi a nice mix of rice and fruits topped with pomegranate served along with marshmallows. They served us chopsticks as well to have the sushi. People who like sushi may like the twist given here. Next we tried the Creamy Vegetable Bao and Mushroom Vol Au Vents. Both were good in their own way. Being a mushroom lover i liked the Vol au Vent cases topped with creamy mushrooms, sprinkled with some salad. This tastes delicious. Bao was soft. Extremely creamy and had rich stuffing and well garnished. Moving to the main course, we tried both the options which were available - Green Thai Curry with Steamed Rice and Cottage Cheese Patty with Sauted Vegetables and Tomato Cream Sauce! Out of the two, my vote would go for the Green Thai Curry, superbly prepared. Would definitely recommend this to those who prefer coconut or can manage coconut in their meal. For others, who don't like Coconut may go for the Cottage Cheese Patty a Grilled dish. Mumbai Maiden Cruise had earlier received feedback in terms of no Indian food available in the menu, hence they introduced few dishes which could be managed on the cruise, again compliments for that. One can order Dal Tadka and Veg Kadhai along with Steamed Rice to complete a satiated meal.  Finally for desserts we tried the Belgium Chocolate Mousse and Blueberry Cheesecake. The desserts are outsourced and not made in house. I personally loved the Belgium Chocolate Mousse more. Creamy, not too sweet. A decent way to end our meal. Besides these 2 desserts there also is an option of Chocolate Cheesecake. I do strongly believe that this cruise should feature amongst the top few things to be done in Mumbai, because this offers an experience like never before. And Mumbaikars need to try this soon, definitely try and do this in the evening and during winter season which is setting in nicely. Prices are also reasonable where different level seating may cost differently but would recommend all to experience rooftop. Also please note during weekends they have Club Nights where entry fees are INR 500 but you get 1 drink free for every 1 drink you buy. A must visit place for people celebrating special occasions such as anniversary, birthdays, get together, cocktail parties, etc.

  • review rating 4  The view is so beautiful. Great sitting arrangements. It plays a variety of songs but Playlist is not that great. Cover charges are low as compared to others. Food is not that great. But still it is an amazing experience one must have, because the place opens by 5:30pm so one can enjoy the beautiful sunset towards Bandra-worli sealink; the citylights and fully lit sealing at night is so mesmerizing.

  • review rating 5  An Amazing and Unique experience. All the services offered are upto the mark. I would recommend this place to each and every person out there in Mumbai, out of the rush and fast life this place gives you the best possible peace. To add the beautiful experience are the courteous staff right from the Land to the small ferry till the big ship we were guided properly and with utmost care. Food was something different and must try. Not the regular tadka and masala food but amazing Continental food which is very rare and amazing. Waiters take utmost care and make sure we enjoy the food by giving us timely attention. BEST PLACE TO BE ! A MUST MUST VISIT !
